Luke Strasser

Associate Pastor, Associate Pastor of Young Adults

I love teaching about Christianity, discipling God’s people, and sharing the Gospel with those who don’t know Him yet. I grew up in Clio, Michigan, and have always been a member of the Nazarene Church.

My ministry takes place in the military. I am a Chaplain Candidate in the United States Army Reserves. Ministering to soldiers is a unique and fruitful experience and I am thankful to God for His guidance in this military journey. In addition to military ministry, I also have a heart for local church ministry. I love teaching people about God and how the Gospel can change their lives.

I graduated from Olivet Nazarene University (B.A in Religious Studies) in 2016 and commissioned as an officer in the Army through their ROTC program on the same day. In 2021, I graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity (M.Div.), and Master of Arts in Theological Studies (MATS). I am currently studying online at Nazarene Theological Seminary to complete a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) program.

During my time at Asbury Theological Seminary, I met my wife Mami. We currently live in Otisville, Michigan, and can often be found frequenting local coffee shops and doing homework together. We love hanging out with friends, studying scripture, and being in fellowship with other followers of Christ. My interests include reading, playing PC games, going to the beach, walking and hiking.
